The study proposes a single dark stone — heavily veined marble — carried across the kitchen island and waterfall end panel, set against smoked oak cabinetry and a hand-glazed tile splashback in deep reds and greens.
A private dining room continues the same language underground: vaulted plaster ceilings, arched bottle niches lit from within, and a single travertine table long enough to seat the whole party beneath an old olive tree growing through the room's centre.
Brass pendant lighting, wall-mounted taps and door hardware repeat throughout, so the kitchen and the cellar beneath it read as one continuous idea rather than two separate rooms.
The scheme is built around one heavily veined dark marble, carried across the kitchen island and continued as travertine in the dining cellar below. Smoked oak cabinetry, hand-glazed tile and aged brass fittings repeat in both rooms, so the sequence from kitchen to cellar reads as a single material idea rather than two different briefs.
